iCafe was born after Allbright CEO, Caesar Morris experienced difficulties twice trying to scan and print documents in Sinkor in 2009. ” The first time, I urgently needed to scan and email my business documents to a client who requested it that evening in March; I drove around Sinkor, Central Monrovia and up to Old Road that night (before 9pm) and there was nowhere to get such services. One evening again in October 2009; I needed to urgently print a 2.4 meter VSAT antenna manual for the next day task and after driving from Sinkor to Old road and back to Central Monrovia with no solution; I said to myself there’s a need for an Internet Cafe here. As IT consultant to Anadarko Petroleum Liberia and IBI International USAID GMAP project I decided to start saving toward the goal of opening a work space to serve my community”
iCafe first open in December of 2010 and was often faced with difficulties ranging from electricity and internet service issues. iCafe finally open in December of 2011 and since than It has been in operations.
